Villarreal wins in Athens. Atletico your next.

Champions League

Imagine a 19 year old Mexican crying in joy. This occurred right after this goal was made. Were through and we did it in quite some style too I’d like to think :) . Llorente is the player of the game for making such a win for us. Without his goal we could of gone to overtime/penalty kicks and all that jazz. I miss the golden goal but it doesn’t happen anymore.
In the last post’s comments, everyone was talking about Rossi and his deal with penalties. Surely after todays game you can see that he has great skill that is outside the penalty box. Making the a goal assist and world class play is my support. Sure he didn’t score, but he did play some great football. At least I think so.
Highlights:

We move on to the next leg along side with Liverpool, Munich and Chelski. I ended up watching the Pool game from my TV (Damn you ESPN) and was quite thrilled about it. 4-0 games against Real Madrid (*throws up*) ensures for good things. Tomorrow I’ll be watching The Special One vs ManUre since ESPN is a English loving channel. Atletico take on Porto tomorrow, hopefully they wear them out for this weekends game…

La Liga
4-4. Thats what we got when we faced Atletico at home. If you don’t remember, check out my old post about it . It was one hell of a game, and I’m expecting a great game from these guys. IMO we worked hard and are the a way better team then when we faced them. A win from these guys will ensure that and turn it into fact. We’ll also make a even bigger gap from them to the Champions League spot that were trying to get to. Yeah were in the qualifiers, but why aim so low, I want 2nd/3rd place :D . I might write a huge preview for this with Al but I’ll see if he’s up for it.
Vamos Villarreal!!

Nice win for Villarreal. Being a supporter of Olympiacos, it made my day considering my club’s anniversary was on Tuesday as well. Tough draw to come for Los Amarillos Submarinos.

    Saludos al Submarino Amarillo!

I wish that game had been shown on any of my channels. My internet’s too slow to watch online…
