Champions League Villarreal vs ManUre

By: Javier | November 25th, 2008

Here we are once again. Champions League day. Oh what joy! Nothing like grabbing some chips, a beer and some gloves if your out here in the US experiencing the cold weather.
Manchester United
Here we go once again, except this time we’ll be having the home field advantage. We tied last game with ManUnited at Old Trafford, which I think is pretty impressive. They still had their confidence and their healthy players. Which means a lot compared to now. Van de Sar, Gary Neville and Dimitar Berbatov will all be watching this match on the bench. This can only help us win and get a guaranteed place in the next round of the Champion League.
Yes Christano! I’m sorry, but you’ll have to work to win this one D: D:. We still have to watch out for the skipper Rooney. Hopefully we don’t piss him off or set his short fuse.

Sadly we’ll be without Kahveci and Joseba Llorente. However, I think we’ll be just fine with Rossi leading the forward. The overall squad is unknown to me, but I’m assuming it’ll be the same starting XI that played Valladolid.
We need this win. Not only to progress in the Champions league but to show everyone that we mean business. That lost against Valladolid was embarrassing, and we need to recover from that.

Americans can watch this is ESPN2(HD) at 1:30 CMT.
I predict a 2-1 match. With goals from Rossi and Senna for the Home side, and a late goal from Rooney.
Vamos Villarreal!
